Le laboratoire du professeur Falken m’a récemment fait parvenir une nouvelle sélection mélodique pour célébrer l’été. Un excellent moyen de se détendre et patienter jusqu’à la semaine prochaine pour la sortie du très attendu premier Ep des Outrunners. La playlist m’est, quant à elle, parvenue dans le désordre à vous d’en rétablir la chronologie mystérieuse.

The laboratory of professor Falken recently sent me a new melodic selection to celebrate the summer. An excellent way to relax and to wait until the next week for the release of eagerly awaited first Outrunners’s EP. Ne vous fiez pas au rythme des articles sur le blog, l’actualité est riche en ce moment et même si mon agenda est aussi bien chargé je vous promet de revenir très bientôt vous présenter de nombreuses nouveautés! Je vous propose d’ailleurs de démarrer dès cette semaine puisque je vous propose de découvrir le projet espagnol Kuriaki et le titre “Memories”. Avec ses accents italo et sa construction naïve, cet extrait de l’album “Landscaper” est un vrai coup de cœur pour moi et je suis certain qu’il saura également vous séduire!

Do not rely on the pace of articles on the blog, the news is up to date right now and although my schedule is so busy I promise to return very soon to introduce many new features! However, I suggest you also start this week since I intend to launch the Spanish project Kuriaki, with the track “Memories”. With his Italo accent and naive construction, this extract from the album “Landscaper” is my favorit and I am sure he will seduce you!

Nous y sommes, c’est aujourd’hui que sort en digital le tout premier album de Minitel Rose et la version physique suivra dans une petite semaine (le 14 juin)! Composé les pieds dans l’eau et la tête dans les étoiles le disque emprunte son nom à l’océan qui berce notre West Coast, l’Atlantique. Pour fêter cet évènement, Maethelvin signe un fantastique remix aux accents “FM” de leur 1er single “Wild Birds”.

We are finally there. Today marks the digital release of the very first album from Minitel Rose and the CD version will follow in a short week (June 14th ). Composed with their feet in the water and their heads in the stars the album borrows its name from the ocean which rocks our West Coast, the Atlantic. To celebrate this event, Maethelvin gives us a remix fantasy in the key of ” FM ” of Minitel’s 1st single ” Wild Birds “.

Les identités analogiques de l’artiste new-yorkais Steve Moore sont multiples : Zombi, Lovelock, Titan, Gianni Rossi. Il y a bientôt deux ans, il nous faisait déjà l’honneur de nous présenter les premiers titres de son projet pop, Lovelock, et il revient aujourd’hui nous émerveiller avec deux compositions inédites rassemblées sur une même piste de près de 26 minutes. Un moment de musique rare qui célèbre les trois ans d’histoire de notre blog. À cette occasion je tiens donc à remercier chaleureusement l’ensemble des artistes qui, comme Steve, ont su donner un peu de leur temps et de leur créativité pour façonner l’image et les mélodies de notre mouvement.

The analogical identities of the New York artist Steve Moore are multiple: Zombi, Lovelock, Titan, Gianni Rossi. Soon it will be 2 years since he presented us the first tracks from his pop project, Lovelock, and now today he amazes us with two new compositions spanned across a 26 minute track. A rare musical journey which celebrates three years of the history of our blog. With this in mind I would like to warmly thank all the artists who, as Steve, gave a little of their time and their creativity to shape the image and the melodies of our movement.

A mon retour de Barcelone, où le public Catalan est venu en nombre supporter notre Valerie Party au Razzmatazz, une excellente nouvelle m’attendait dans ma boite mail… Les fidèles lecteurs du blog se souviennent certainement avec la même émotion que moi de la première sélection proposée par le projet canadien Parallels. Depuis deux ans, le groupe a évolué et la chanteuse Holly Dodson est venue prêter sa voix cristalline à la formation. De ce nouveau départ est né un premier album “Visionaries” qui ressort prochainement dans une édition vinyle limitée à 500 exemplaires. A cette occasion, ils nous font l’honneur d’un nouveau mix emprunt de délicatesse et intitulé “Faint Image”.

On my return from Barcelona, where the Catalan public came in their numbers to support our Valerie Party at Razzmatazz, some excellent news was waiting for me in my e-mail inbox… Faithful readers of the blog will certainly remember with the same emotions as I, the first selection mix of the Canadian project, Parallels . For two years, the group have evolved, and the singer Holly Dodson has joined to lend her cristaline voice to the band. From this new start an debut album was born entitled “Visionaries” which will soon be re-released in a limited edition vinyl run of 500 copies. To celebrate, they have given us of a new mix entitled “Faint Image”

Comme Michael J. Fox dans “Family Ties“, Tom Hanks débute sa carrière au générique d’un soap. “Bosom Buddies” décrit le quotidien de deux jeunes hommes qui, pour des raisons budgétaires, décident d’emménager dans un immeuble réservé aux femmes! Le générique de la série, composé par Billy Joel, incarne parfaitement le charme mélodique et graphique de Manhattan au début des années 1980.

Like Michael J. Fox in ‘Family Ties‘, Tom Hanks began his career in the credits of a tv soap. ‘Bosom Buddies‘ was the story of the everyday life of two young men who, for budgetary reasons, decide to move into a building reserved for women! The theme tune of the series, originaly composed by Billy Joel, perfectly embodied the melodic and graphic charm of Manhattan at the beginning of 1980s.
